Chicken pepper soup; How do you like your chicken pepper soup served? Hmmm, I love mine served with boiled rice and a chilled drink. That will surely put a smile on my face.
Alright! Let’s get into today’s recipe. I believe you’re ready to learn something new today! Chicken pepper soup as the name implies is a hot and spicy soup prepared with chicken using some special blend of African spices which includes Negro pepper also known as “Uda” in Igbo, African nutmeg known as “Ehiri” in Igbo and ‘Ariwo” in Yoruba, uziza seed, ginger and some other spices (You can mix these spices and store in a container for future use). These special spices are what give the pepper soup its unique taste.
It has low calories and can be used as a weight-loss meal plan and also doesn’t necessarily need to be too peppery. b The quantity of pepper can be reduced for those that are not pepper friendly. In this case, it won’t be too spicy.
